'Tree of Life' necklace

The concept of a many-branched tree symbolizes that all life on Earth is related and has been used in science, religion, philosophy, mythology and other areas. It could represent a mystical concept of the oneness in all things, a metaphor for common descent in the evolutionary sense, and a motif in various world theologies, mythologies and philosophies.

The focal pendant is totally made from scratch using various gauges of solid copper wire. The tree is sculptured with copper wire and covered with A grade Peridot chips. The necklace is threaded with black leather cord and fastens with a lobster clasp and extension chain, which I've finished off with a Peridot rondelle.

All metal used is solid 100% copper. The total length (including clasp and extension chain) is adjustable from 17 to 18 ½ inches (43 to 47 cm). The total length of the pendant including bail is just over 1 ½ inches long (~50 mm).
